I work with individuals and businesses to develop responsive,
accessible websites and interfaces.
I’m a 30-something tech enthusiast currently residing in the sunny city of Venice, CA. I’ve been doing this web development thing for 10+ years. I’m well-versed in Photoshop and speak HTML(5), CSS(3)/Mobile Responsive, Javascript and PHP fluently (unfortunately, my spanish isn’t quite up to par). I’ve worked with Hewlett Packard, TOMS shoes, Red Bull and Beach Body fitness, and I’ve done a whole lotta freelance work on the side.
I write well-organized, scalable CSS/SASS using modern techniques like BEM and SMACSS. I build intuitive styleguides that eliminate code repetition and keep the dev team on the same page.
A critical part of crafting a great front end is building a solid HTML foundation with meaningful classes and a flexible structure. My markup is easy to read, and built to last.
The line between front end and back end is becoming increasingly blurred. I study the latest technologies and frameworks and integrate them in well-commented, forward-thinking ways.
